Roosevelt High sits gently nestled in the hustle and bustle of New York City. From the outside an impressive sight, with it's towering buildings and it's almost majestic air... but what goes on within the walls of the school which has by many been dubbed to one of the most influential schools in the world?.
Only two years ago a scandal rocked the school and since then, the changes have been numerous... None however more prominant than change of name from Spencer Academy to the more common Roosevelt High and more than any other, the decision to open it's doors to students of all classes, instead of as it had always been...only allowing the children of the upper class, the most affluent and influential people in the country and in the world to attend.
The name of the school still holds it's value with high society, but how do the children of the rich and famous deal with sharing their school with the kids from the other side of the track?
There's only one way to find out...

Day: Tuesday September 15th 2009
Time of the day: Afternoon.
Weather: The cool weather from earlier is slowly becoming more seasonable and as the afternoon progresses, the temperatures are really quite pleasant. Just before evening there will be a few unexpected scattered rain showers. Will your character get caught in the rain?
Events: Classes have been cancelled for the afternoon. What will your characters do with their new free time?
Upcoming Events: Wednesday. Early evening. Fundraiser for After School Music Programs.
Saturday September 19th - Afternoon. Charity Car Wash (Cheerleaders and Sports Teams).
Sunday September 20th - Afternoon. New York Philharmonic Apprentice Concert.
Pending Timechange: February 8th 2010, where the game will move forward to Tuesday Evening.

Character Creation & Claims This is the place to check when creating a character, making faceclaims and of course any other claims for your character. Please be sure to check the 'Character Creation Guidelines' before submitting a profile.
Reach out and I‘ll be there (7 sub-boards) Everyone these days has Instant Messengers, Myspace Pages, Twitter Pages and of course the ever important Cell Phone. This is in short; the place to get in touch with people. This is also the place for 'character trackers'... A sort of Hub of all things related to your characters.
Character Information (7 sub-boards) This is the place for information about your characters, which isn't really truly Out of character and yet, it isn't really a fit for the 'Reach out' board either. This is the place for...Tracking pages, notes from the player about the character and everything in between.

The Roosevelt High Echo (3 sub-boards) The Echo is the school newspaper for Roosevelt High. It's the place to take out adverts, post commentary on some of the current news stories circling the school, but of course it's also the premier place for news and event announcements of all kinds.
The Character's Domain (4 sub-boards) The characters Domain is the place for all the in character stuff you can think of. In Character Chat, Gossip, Even Games and RPG's played in Character. Want a Pen Pal for your character or just have your character start a topic of conversation about...anything. This is the place to go.
Where the magic happens - The Gameboard (2 sub-boards) This is where it all happens, where the characters come to life and everything unfolds. In short, this is the gameboard.
A part of our history - The Backstory Board (4 sub-boards) The backstory board is the place to flesh out connections from the past. Someone might be another person's best friend, but how did they end up that way. Feel free to post and play out any of your backstories here and let us all see how everything began.
Let‘s enter the Archives (38 sub-boards) Welcome to the Archive. The place where all the stories, which have now become part of Roosevelt High history are moved to once they are no longer posted. Want to re-read a post or perhaps just see what happened in the past. This is the place to go.
Connection Requests A very wise person once uttered the line 'No Man is an Island' and there is no doubt about the tryth of those words. Alas, everyone needs connections, friends and even enemies. This is the place to request such connections.
Character Requests Sometimes, you find yourself in need of someone to play a specific character in the life of your character... A best friend...a family member, anything really. It can be as vague as simply a position in someone's life or it can be a complete fleshed out adoptable character. It could even be a request by a player, for a specific place in an existing character's life (eg if someone would like to make a character the sibling of another). This is where such requests can be filed.
Thread/Post Requests (1 sub-board) Have an open post you would like someone to jump into?, maybe you would like to write a specific type of post or perhaps you're looking for to post a thread in a specific place. This is the place to request threads with other writers.
Notices (3 sub-boards) Just joining and want to introduce yourself to the group, leaving and want to say goodbye or perhaps you're going to be gone for a bit. This is the place to post such notices.
